Minor update 27th December 2009.
In order to support the rules of the GPS Team Challenge (http://www.gpsteamchallenge.com) the site used to work out the Alpha speeds from Navi GT-11s using trackpoints rather than doppler data.
As a result of a rule change at the comp site, I've modified the page to calculate speeds using Doppler data for all GT-11 tracks recorded on or after 1st January 2010.
Actually, this is a big relief for me. It was quite a hack to get the site to behave this way.
The change is applied to tracks based on the date they were recorded on (not uploaded) so tracks recorded in 2009, but not uploaded until 2010, will still use the trackpoints method to calculate Alphas.
No other major changes. The core engine remains stable, and the site is continuing to grow, now with over 5000 recorded tracks. (That's an average of 14 tracks uploaded per day.)
